Paula Morán is the Academic Director at UWC Costa Rica. Paula joined the College in August 2006 when the school opened its doors as a UWC. She was a full-time Spanish B and Ab Initio teacher until August 2015 when she became a part-time IB Coordinator and part-time Spanish teacher. In July 2016, she became the Academic Director. That same year she started her Master in Education specializing in Education Center Organization and Management, which she finished at the end of 2018. Paula did her Bachelor’s Degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language in Oviedo, Spain (her hometown). In 2001, she started her PGCE (Post Graduate Course in Education) in Manchester, UK, where she worked as a Spanish teacher for five years before joining UWC Costa Rica.
