Residential Life

Host Families

In an unscripted environment, students interact with Costa Rican culture and the Spanish language and, while learning to apply their co-curricular knowledge. All host families are evaluated and guided by the UWC CR staff to ensure a safe environment for our students. Of all their experiences acquired, students overwhelmingly praise the memories, the moments of learning firsthand about sustainable development, and the irreplaceable real-life lessons learned in the Host Family Program.
