By bringing together teens of 70+ nationalities across the socio-economic spectrum to live, dream, and learn, our campus becomes a laboratory where idealism is nurtured by an educational model that encourages students to put ideas into action. Here, they build bridges to generate collaborative ways of thinking to shape a more peaceful and sustainable future.

The Agents of Change Initiative empowers UWC Costa Rica students to turn their ideas into action to tackle real-life problems they are passionate about through a creative and experiential process where they work collaboratively with local communities to drive positive social impact.
 

Wellness Initiative

The Wellness Initiative is a school-wide initiative that fosters a culture of wellness—mental, physical, emotional, social, and spiritual—among all our community. Its focus lies on prevention, detection, and intervention by addressing the culture of caring for themselves and each other.
