Co-curricular activities complement the experiential learning journey of students at UWC Costa Rica. Students are encouraged to:
  • identify personal strengths and areas of growth; 
  • practice taking the initiative, 
  • show commitment and perseveration when tackling challenges; 
  • become more familiar with the Costa Rican context;
  • develop ethical on and off-campus community service; 
  • engage on issues of global significance; 
  • develop skills for teamwork and project development.
